Inhoud

This course focuses on production and tour management within the music and live industry. The course consists of several items:

-          Tour budgeting, tour accounting: supervising all expenses and revenues

-          Advancing of shows, riders

-          Role of the promotor

-          Performance settlements

-          Backline

-          Staff: stagehands

-          Accommodation and travel

-          Customs, visa, import

-          Itinerary, transport and logistics

-          Press and promotion

-          Stage management and on-site operations and production: load-in/load-out, sound check, hospitality, merchandise

Toelichting werkvorm

The course documents are studied together in a compressed class sequence. Then the student is given two weeks to submit the individual assignment.
