During the LiveLab International, various interprofessional teams consist students from different study programs and from different countries (Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, India…).

The LiveLab International is an unique innovative project in which students collaborate internationally, virtually and interprofessionally in an 'International classroom'. During this project, students work with an international group of students through which intercultural collaborations are experienced. The international projects consist of several digital meetings that run over the entire academic year. Digital learning and collaboration make these projects very accessible to students and supports the idea of internationalization at home and stimulates digital mobility.

Each project works around a different theme. Within I-step the concrete topics are: Social determinants of Health, Innovative and Adaptive cities and Communication for better wellness of individuals and communities. Within the VEP, work is being done on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Moreover, the projects are also aimed at meeting other cultures and understanding other cultures through collaboration.

The LiveLab International is based on the same didactic principles as the LiveLab national: authentic learning environments, interprofessional collaboration and community service learning.

I-step:

Learning material (syllabus, slides, videos, ...) is offered digitally on the online platform Mighty networks.

VEP:

Learning material (assignment sheet with process description, literature, links,..) is offered digitally on the online platform Toledo.

English

The students carry out the assignment during digital meetings with their interprofessional working group. Students are supported by theoretical foundations.
